Halloween!

I am helping Frankie get ready

The first house I knocked on

There were lots of spooky things around the neighborhood

I had to cut across yards to make good time.

Coming home with the loot. My bag was heavy at the end of the night.

Everything has led up to this evening. Lots of fun stuff. Halloween finally arrived. It was exciting to have parties and decorate the house for Halloween throughout the month. I couldn't wait until tonight, to go out trick-or-treating. I went with Mommy, Daddy,Grandma Ramona, Aunt DeDe, and my cousin Melanie. I went as a cowboy and Frankie was an indigenous person to the American Continent, also known as an Indian. I got lots of candy, and couldn't decide what to eat first.

Tanaka Farms

Today we went to Tanaka Farms in Irvine. They have fun things to do all year round and fun holiday activities. Being close to Halloween they have a U-Pick pumpkin patch. There is a petting zoo, a corn-stalk maze, a vegetable garden where you can pick fresh vegetables, tractor rides, ATV rides, and of course pumpkins. It was good to get away from the city and run around on a real life farm, and breathe fresh air. For a list of everything the Farm does and check out their website:http://tanakafarms.homestead.com/

Tanaka Farms is fun.

Disneyland! Every Toddler's Dream Come True

Hello, I have been very busy having fun and getting ready for Halloween! I recently went to Disneyland! I was very excited to go because the entire park was decorated for Halloween, and the rides are fun. We went on Pirates of the Carribbean, the Haunted Mansion, which was decorated to looki like the Nightmare Before Christmas. I then explored Pirate's Island. There were lots of caves, and trails to run around and have adventures on.

I was finally big enough to go on the Matterhorn. I was a little scared at first but it was exciting. At the end of the day there was a special treat. The 1st Marine Division band was present for the flag lowering ceremony.

There is so much more to do at Disneyland, be sure to check back as I will put up more posts after I return again. For more information look at their website: www.disneyland.com

Pumpkin Party!

This party was delightful!! I invited family and friends over, for dinner, to carve pumpkins, win prizes, and have spooky fun. There were several pumpkins with fun and scary faces. After we carved the pumpkins, Aunt Jenny roasted the pumpkin seeds. They were very tasty. Thank you to everyone who attended. Without you the party would not have been a hit.

The Results Are In

It's official! The results from the poll indicate that most people favor seeing Frankie in an Indian costume. So as not to confuse anyone, this will be a costume replicating the outfits worn by the indigenous people of North America, and not a costume from the country of India. See you tonight at my pumpkin carving party!

Uncle Brian!

Uncle Brian visited last weekend. He and his family live in the Sacramento area. We don't see him as often as we like to. Frankie had time to visit with him. Everybody wants to hold Frankie cause he is new. I was pretty busy playing with my cousin Calvie. I caught my fingers in the door to the garage. It hurt but Grandma Judy kissed it and it felt better.

Halloween is Coming

Halloween is not far away and we are getting ready. Last week Frankie and I went to the pumpkin patch at Irvine Park. Frankie found his right away. I looked around a little longer. I am going to be a cowboy for Halloween. Frankie isn't sure what he is going to be. To help him out I added a new poll at the top of the site. Vote for the costume you would like to see Frankie in and, that's what he'll be. I am excited for Halloween.

OC Children's Book Festival

Hey everyone, I recently went to the Orange County Children's Book Festival held on the Orange Coast College campus in the city of Costa Mesa. It was lots of fun. There were many booths and vendors and all the activities were for little kids like me. There was a magician, and storytellers, and face-painters, train rides, and more! Not only that but lots of books too. I love to read, especially about cars! Mommy and Daddy say "education first" and the OC Children's Book Festival lets kids see how fun reading can be.

Oktoberfest!

Sorry I have been away awhile. I have been very busy having fun and making new friends. Not too long ago I went to Oktoberfest at St. Martin de Porres Church in Yorba Linda. They had lots of rides and games to play. I won a stuffed puppy from the basketball throw. You can see how happy I was. They also had a live band playing while we were there. The name of the band was Film at Eleven. I really liked the sound they had. Me and Mommy danced. I showed her my best moves. We also got hungry so we kept it traditional and ate brats with sauerkraut. We mingled some more and I met a 'Niners fan. It was a lot of fun to see all the people and do some of the activities. Come back soon.
